Apple confirms iPhone 'Limited' 5s phones suffer decreased battery life

Apple has confirmed that they suffer a "limited number" of mobile phones iPhone 5s short, and that owners are actively being contacted and offered replacement phones.

Although the battery life awesome features of seventh-generation iPhone - about 10 hours of talk time on 3 G, according to the web site of Apple - a number of owners has found the phone equipped with touch ID does not has been performing very well.

On the other hand, the affected terminals iPhone 5s are losing all their cargo in a short period of time, according to a recent article published by The New York Times. Of course, this would be very problematic for owners.

Fortunately, however, Apple is aware of the problem, and according to comments made by a spokesman, the Cupertino, California company is actively investigating the situation and provide customers with replacement phone iPhone 5s.

Apple Teresa Brewer says:

We recently discovered a problem of making that affects one very limited number of 5S iPhone devices that could cause the battery it takes in charge or result in shorter duration. We are trying to reach the affected phone customers and provide a replacement phone.

From this writing, are not sure exactly how many phones iPhone 5s suffer the problem, however, The New York Times points out that the figure could be up to several thousand.

It is worth noting, as the publication adds that a "workmanship issue" is not the same as a faulty battery, and as such is the real source of the problem described above at this time unknown.

If you've been suffering from extremely poor life of the battery in a phone iPhone 5s, it could be that you are one of the few affected. If so, a new smartphone will be available by Apple.
